Mahsa Alaeian is an associate at SmolenPlevy. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016, then earned her law degree at the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island in May 2020. In law school, she was president of the International Law Society and was recognized for performing one hundred hours or more of pro bono legal service. She was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2021.
Mahsa had several notable internships during her undergraduate and law school career, including with the Virginia General Assembly (State Senate), the Rhode Island Family Court in Warwick, Rhode Island and the Office of Chief Legal Officer at Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in Arlington, Virginia.
Mahsa is fluent in Farsi and she loves nature travel and hiking.
