Matt Maxwell is an associate at SmolenPlevy. Matt graduated from the University of South Carolina and earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he founded and was president of the International Law Society and was a senior article editor for the Human Rights Quarterly. Before joining SmolenPlevy, Matt worked as the legal counsel and development director of an international nonprofit that served doubly marginalized refugees. Matt was born and raised in Bamberg, South Carolina. His love of travel has already taken him to 20+ countries, amassing a deep appreciation for other cultures.
